NEWEST INFO:

As of 10/3/2017:

AMENITIES ARE BEING PLANNED!
Board members met wtih an engineering firm today at 36 Club House Drive.  YES!  That's where the club house should be!

After the last annual meeting, one homeowner said that he was looking forward to what  would be accomplished this year.  Well, look forward to this!

At long last, Sweetwater Station is planning to to get the amenities in place.
We are starting with the footprints of what can go where.  Within a week or so, there will be a survey right here on the website to get input from our residents about what is most important to them.

Of course, construction and maintenance of amenities will mean more fees, but over the last few years, every member attending the annual meeting has asked for the amenities, first and foremost.  Unlike years past, the board of directors we elected in February is taking action as promised!  There will be a comprehensive plan presented to the membership no later than the 2018 Annual Meeting in February!

Other items:

Please be sure to maintain your lawn, to include edging along the curbs and sidewalks, and remember that it is against Savannah City Ordinances to blow grass trimmings into the street.

We have a beautiful neighborhood, let us all strive to keep it that way.

The directors you elected in February heard the complaints about the pond and took action.  The lake management vendor was replaced over the summer and the water looks so much better.  More carp were added and a more specific treatment plan was developed while the overall cost went down.  Cooler weather is here and it is a great time to take a walk around the water!

HOWEVER,  be aware that alligators have been spotted and will still be present throughout the fall.  A few days of cooler weather does NOT send them into hibernation.  ALWAYS be wary around the water in this part of the country.  Stay high upon the banks and be extra careful to keep children and pets away from the waters' edge.

There will be a survey posted soon. The purpose of this survey is to get a general opinion from the homeowners in respect to what we would like to see in the future.

Please remember that there is a no soliciting policy (and sign in the front) in our neighborhood.  Although we make allowances, usually for our children involved in school and community organization fundraisers, we do not genarally allow ANY door-to-door solicitation of ANY sort.  If you are contacted by a solicitor, please let them know of this policy. Please inform them to contact the HOA to request permission to enter the neighborhood for the purposes of conducting their business.
The Association will grant such permission only upon presentation of appropriate credentials and may require a background check.  Anyone attempting to go door-to-door in this community outside of this policy will be prosecuted.

In the meantime, would you sign a contract with someone who couldn't read the sign at the entrance?

Please use the "Contact Us" link for all communications except ARC Applications. Locate ARC guidelines and applications under the "resources" tab. You can email all ARC Applications to: info@swshoa.com but please send your $50 application fee to our new address. You can also mail the completed application and fee.

Please DO NOT send any HOA Dues or ARC Applications to Liz & Associates.  That relationship has been terminated.  Please use the address and other contact information at the top of this page, or on the Contact Us link.

Please Remember:
For all those that fish in the pond. The association has paid a total of $1,635 to add Carp to the pond area for the purpose of eating pond weed growth. AND...it is working!

IF YOU FISH HERE...and you catch one of these Carp, please release them back in the pond. These Carp are genetically engineered NOT to reproduce. So we need our new 150 residents to live here and do their job!

PLEASE NOTE: The speed limit inside the neighborhood is 25 MPH. With many cars parked on the street, school bus stops, and children walking home from those bus stops, please be cautious.  With the time change, it will also be darker in the morning.

Please be sure to use the "Contact Us" link on the left to contact us. We have been receiving emails from homeowners so we know that this function is working. Please be sure to contact us with your issues or concerns!
